The firm foundation of SAB-profiel productsA range of materials is used for SAB-profiel products. Dependent on the application, we work with galvanised steel, Aluzink, stainless steel or aluminium (coated or uncoated). All of our materials are supplied according to the applicable European standards. Underneath you can read more about the differences and similarities.
Galvanised steel
SAB-profiel uses galvanised steel (also called: Sendzimir) as base material. We can supply this material in a number of qualities, all of which conform to the European standards. Uncoated, galvanised materials (or an interior coating) are not suitable for exterior applications.
Aluzink
Aluzink is a metallic coating that consists of an aluminium-zinc alloy of 55% aluminium , 43.4% zinc and 1.6% silicon. The material combines the protective properties of aluminium with the galvanic protection of zinc. Aluzink is available in a number of thicknesses for interior and exterior applications.
Stainless steel
As standard, SAB-profiel supplies stainless steel in various thicknesses and qualities, but always with a 2B-finish and with protective film on two sides. Other alloys are possible in consultation.
Aluminium
SAB-profiel supplies aluminium alloy EN AW-3105 in thicknesses from 0.70 to 1.25 mm. Aluminium can, dependent of the desired volume, be supplied with a polyester or PVDF coating.
