If the acoustic requirements so demand, you can have the profiled roof and wall cladding and structural inner linings perforated. But you can also request perforation just because you think it's attractive. Should you opt for perforation, however, please bear in mind that this alters the permissible load and the deflection of the materials. You can read more about this in the technical manual. SAB-profiel supplies two standard perforated patterns: Perfo 3 and Perfo 4.
However, for larger orders, SAB-profiel can supply every conceivable pattern.
Crimp
Crimping entails bending a panel at a certain point to create an angle. Each crimp creates an angle of between 1 and 5 degrees. The spacing between the crimps must be at least 32 mm. The panel must remain straight for at least 150 mm on either end before the first crimp.
Smooth curving
Smooth curving entails rolling the sheet into a continuous curve. Smooth curving can only be applied along the entire length of a sheet.
Condensation-inhibiting foil
Condensation-inhibiting foil can be applied to cold roof cladding to prevent condensation drips. This light-grey condensation-inhibiting foil consists of interconnected fibres, which offer sufficient space to absorb condensation. Whenever the temperature rises and sufficient ventilation becomes available, the absorbed moisture is released to the atmosphere as water vapour. Apart from its highly absorbent properties, this foil also provides additional sound absorption.
Protective film
SAB-profiel can apply a protective foil to all coatings and aluminium to prevent damage. This foil is applied as standard to all stainless steel, Multicoat and the exterior skin of sandwich panels. SAB-profiel firmly recommends that all smooth coatings, such as polyester and PVDF, should always be ordered with protective foil. This foil can be easily removed either immediately prior to or following installation.
