RockPro® Mineral wool panels

In the past we have offered also RockPro mineralwool panels, but from January 2012 we no longer produce these type of panels.

RockPro^® mineral wool panels are particularly suitable for use in new building and renovation projects requiring a high level of fire safety. This is for instance the case when the walls are a short distance from the site boundary and in situations where reaction to fire is very important, such as in escape routes and fire walls between compartments in buildings. The website makes a distinction between through fix, secret fix and specials.

Specific characteristics of mineral wool panels

• Nonflammable (A2-s1,d0 classification)
• Fire-resistant (30 - 180 minutes)
• Lower insurance premium because fire safety

• Pleasant indoor climate thanks to favourable thermal efficiency and a high accumulative capacity

• 100% recyclable

• Good sound insulation (30 to 31 dB(A)).

SAB-profiel excels in fire resistance
Mineral wool sandwich panels are resistant to fire penetration and flame spread for between 30 and 180 minutes. The SAB-profiel mineral wool panes are constructed of two vapour-proof steel skins with a core made of high-quality, fire safe mineral wool with a density of at least 110 kg/m3. Their fire resistance has been tested in accordance with the NEN 6069 standard and is extensively documented.
